Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered in a search widget passes to the outside provider that operates the tool. Iron County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
A message sent by email or through a contact feature may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the exchange. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Automatic Technical Information
Routine server and analytics records may be created when a page loads. Those records can include:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent on them;
- the referring site, when available;
- the date and time of each request.
Cookies can help measure use and preserve basic functions. A browser can block cookies, although some site or partner features may then work differently.
How Information Is Used
Collected data supports the operation and upkeep of the service. It may be used to:
- keep pages available and responsive;
- send a query to the selected search partner;
- measure which Iron County record pages help visitors;
- diagnose errors and technical faults;
- display advertising that may reflect general interests.
Privacy Beyond This Site
Links lead to the Iron County Sheriff, Missouri corrections and court services, federal locators, and outside search tools. After a visitor follows a link, the destination’s privacy terms govern its collection and use of data.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs on their systems, not in a database of Iron County release searches maintained here.
When Data May Be Shared
Personal information is not sold. Limited data may be handled by:
- search partners that process a submitted query;
- analytics vendors that measure site use;
- advertising networks serving ads;
- law enforcement or government authorities acting under a valid legal order.
Reasonable Security Measures
Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used where practical. No internet-connected service can promise complete security, so transmission or storage cannot be guaranteed as breach-proof.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian may use the Contacts page to request deletion if a minor submitted information.
Your Information Choices
Subject to applicable law and the data actually held, a person may ask to:
- receive a copy of personal data held about them;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- erase eligible stored information;
- opt out of certain processing.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as the service or legal requirements change. A revised version takes effect when posted with its new effective date.
