Iron County Same-Day Release Sources
The current Iron County Sheriff page names Sheriff Chuck Helton and provides office contact details but no inmate roster, jail-release archive, or last-24-hours view. Its public navigation was checked along with likely roster and release paths. The older sheriff site also lacks a releases menu. Search results that appear to offer recent Iron County bookings often concern another state and do not establish a Missouri jail event.
That absence changes the task. “Last 24 hours” is a question for the Iron County Jail records custodian, not the name of a public web product. A caller should say whether the request means a trailing period counted back from the present moment or the calendar day beginning at midnight. The jail movement entry is the source that can identify the precise time out, the legal authority, and where the person went.
Important: No official Iron County 24-hour release feed was found. A web result that looks like a list should not be treated as county data.

For state custody, the MODOC Offender Search covers active incarcerated and supervised people, including some who have physically left prison on parole or conditional release. It expressly omits discharged offenders. A missing MODOC result therefore does not prove that supervision ended. Federal and immigration systems are separate and must be checked only when the movement record points there.
Why Iron County Names Do Not Drop
A common recent-release method assumes a person first appears on a live roster and then disappears when released. That model does not fit Iron County. The sheriff publishes no verified public roster, archive, or recent-release table, so a name cannot “drop off” an official list that does not exist.

No official Iron County sheriff mobile app link was found on the current county page or the sheriff navigation reviewed. Missouri DPS also says MobilePatrol and Missouri Sheriff Connect are not affiliated with DPS or MOVANS. That warning does not prove Iron County participates in either product, so neither should be presented as an official same-day release source.
The legacy sheriff website has some historical contact material, but its footer contains suspicious unrelated links and the site is stale. Current county details and direct telephone verification should control. MOVANS is the official Missouri notification route, but it checks a specific person and supports future alerts. It is not a substitute list of all Iron County releases during the day.
